[For Everyone] はじめまして！Nice to meet you!

皆さん、こんにちは！日本語教師のゆかです。

Hello everyone! I'm Yuka, your Japanese teacher.

私は埼玉県で生まれ育ち、結婚した今も埼玉に住んでいます。（埼玉が本当に大好きです！）私の日本語には地域特有のアクセントが全くないので、皆さんにとてもクリアな標準語（日本語）をお届けできるのが私の自慢です。

I was born and raised in Saitama, and I still live here today—I truly love my hometown! Since I grew up here, I have no regional accent. I'm proud to provide you with the clearest "Standard Japanese" possible.

私が日本語教師に興味を持ったのは、大学生の時でした。たまたま「日本語教師になるためのカリキュラム」を見つけたのがきっかけです。でも、その勉強は想像以上に大変でした！専攻の授業に加えて420時間の専門的な学習が必要で、大学4年生になっても、ほぼ毎日学校に通って必死に勉強していました（笑）。

I first became interested in teaching Japanese back in university when I discovered a special curriculum for aspiring teachers.

It was much tougher than I expected!

In addition to my major, I had to complete 420 hours of specialized training. Even in my senior year, I was going to school almost every single day to keep up! (lol)

でも、その時の頑張りがあったからこそ、今こうして大好きな日本語教師の仕事ができています。皆さんと一緒に学べる毎日が、本当に幸せです！

But thanks to all that hard work, I’m now able to do the job I love most. I’m so happy to be able to study with all of you every day!

これからこのブログでは、皆さんが日本語を読む練習ができるように、記事を書いていきます。タイトルの前に [N5] のようにレベルを書くようにするので、自分のレベルに合わせてチェックしてみてください。もし読んでいてわからないことがあったら、ぜひクラスの時に聞いてくださいね！

From now on, I’ll be posting articles here so you can practice your reading. I’ll add labels like [N5] in front of the titles, so please check them out according to your level. If you find anything difficult to understand, feel free to ask me during our lessons!
